Notes

Today my legs said, "Fuck off". So I obliged them, cut my run off, and walked the last two miles. The worst part about walking is that I'm pretty sure that people are looking out their windows and asking, "What is wrong with him? Walking the last two miles? What a failure." Actually, that's just what I'm thinking they're thinking. They probably see me then turn back to watch "The Real Apprentice Pawn Stars of Survivor County" without a second thought. I'm the one that feels defeated.

Thankfully, coach and I just had an email exchange today where he advised me not to worry about mileage too much. If I need to do 60 instead of 65 this week, it's not going to kill me. It's more important that I get in my workouts and long runs. I feel like such an achiever for cutting my run short. Fuck yeah, I did that.
