cooler than expected; lots of bugs on part of course which was mapped out in kilometers so expected to finish when I past 3km mark. Pushed to pass runners in beginning to get running space. Tried to keep pace fast but steady. Tripped on boards on boardwalk portion of race. Fast runners in my age group.
