Hadn't planned to run tonight, but since I did crosstraining last night in lieu of a run, and since it was so nice out immediately post-rainstorm, I changed my mind. First run since 10 miler. Toes aren't hurting any more, but of course they still have some recovery to do. Tied shoes carefully, and toes seem to be alright. May not have stretched adequately. That's the hazard of under--- a short run. Pushed pretty hard. Running down 52nd past Madonna, I extended my stride to the max. It was fun, but afterward felt slight pull in left hamstring. Woops, I did it again, I fear. Ran through the pain, which wasn't terrible, but not great feeling. Seemed a bit more short of air than usual; topped briefly at turns. All in all, it wasn't a bad run, but the muscle pull is always a bit of a worry a week before the half. I think I'll get over it.
