Notes
I was dubious about sixteen after four and a 20 minute break being exactly like a twenty, but the puppies needed their runs. Upping it from 16 to 18 was totally spontaneous at the 9 milepost. That made this my highest mileage week in this training cycle. It was fortunate that a good Samaritan left water at Walton and the 5 and 9 mile points; I availed myself of them, and would have been suffering a lot without them. Kept up the pace in the last three, but it was a challenge. That's pretty much how I'll feel at the end of the marathon, so it should be good training.
