Notes
Like the last time I PR'd on this course, I had a chocolate malt for lunch, so I did that again. Concentrated on pacing, and it actually worked! The worst of the discomfort was dry mouth and throat throughout the race. I tried to ignore and keep the legs loose and moving. Goal pace was 7:40, and I accomplished this and better on all but the Calvert hill. Knew I would need to keep pushing to overcome that slow mile. Thrilled to break off the plateau.
