Notes
Quite a crowd of participants in a narrow space. Quite a variety of surfaces and terrain, from concrete to asphalt to dirt to sand to fairway to green to rope-aided descent/ascent in creek bed. Creek was very narrow/hop-able. There were a lot of irregular surfaces that required care to avoid sprained ankle. I wasn't able, and didn't really want to run fast. The long ascents required pretty heavy breathing. Never needed to walk, except when the crowd made running impossible.
Had a good sized bowl of chili, no bagel, and a tiny amount of beer afterward.
