One degree in the dark is colder than zero in bright sunlight. My glasses fogged up quickly, and wouldn't unfog, so I couldn't wear them, and my eyes were cold. Otherwise, I was warm enough. Trail was cleared, footing was good on the streets and sidewalks in spite of or because of the snow. Didn't encounter a soul, but I did see some people at the zoo parking lot who had presumably finished their runs.
