Crescent moon rising. Orion was beautiful and has moved noticeably westward. Did not encounter a single person on the entire run.
Second run in huaraches. My knee felt fine, my ankle felt fine, and I'm becoming more accustomed to the huaraches. Felt good enough to run pretty hard, and I sprinted the whole straightaway returning from the dam. Best run in quite a while.
Back home, I discovered the hazard of running hard in huaraches. The cord had worn through the skin on my right ankle, and was threatening to do so in a few other places. Got to figure out how to prevent this.
