Met Carol and Kristi, hung around for the start. Surprised at how seriously this was organized, with chip timing, pace line up signs, lots of volunteers, cops, live band. Over a thousand runners, they said. I ran at a comfortably brisk pace, didn't kill myself, felt good at the end. Just happy to be faster than marathon pace. Confidence builder again. Had to hang around 40 minutes for my AG award.
