The afternoon was so nice that I thought I'd take a short one on a new course. This course was a bit ill-conceived. As I was running south on Rd. 28 I thought to myself that this is the kind of road that might have loose dogs. As I was keeping an eye and ear out for loose dogs, a dog ran up silently from behind and ran between my legs. We both picked our surprised selves up off the asphalt, he backed up and then started to bark. I told him what I thought about his trick, then ran on, assessing the damage as I ran (and walked a couple of times). Left hand scraped and bleeding, left knee scraped and bleeding and hurting a bit internally, left elbow scraped and bleeding, left hip with a non-bleeding mark on it (noticed these last two after I got home). Kinda takes away from the fun of the run; hence the low quality score.
