New shoes! Knees felt better from the beginning, throughout the run, and after. Left knee owieness is still there, but I think is left over. Had to negotiate lots of ice and snow, so wasn't expecting fast time.
Next day: Left knee hurts in center of kneecap, not outside. Will wait and see if pain persists.
