Notes
A lovely final long run for this training cycle. Not in a hurry. The rain started in earnest at about mile three. There was thunder, and even some visible lightning. A lot of lilacs and unidentified white blossoms. Birds, particularly cardinals, frogs. A lot of especially friendly runners, but most vanished when the rain started. I was feeling really good, and I carried some fig Newtons and a little bottle of water. I think they helped, judging by how I feel after the run. Stopped to pee several times.
