I designated this as a recovery run. Though the race yesterday was only 5K, I ran pretty hard, and was aware of some stiff places - tendon in left groin in particular. Stretching after this run called attention to other muscle soreness, notably in quads, and to a lesser extent, hamstrings.

Back to the run, the main thing on my mind was the huaraches. Left toe strap still uncomfortable, although I loosened it before the run. Still can't tell whether the hole is in the wrong place, the cord is too tight or too loose, or the knot underneath is irritating. The other thing of interest was the women's tri that was taking place around the lake. Had to stay well to the right of the trail to let all the bikes go by.
