Notes
This long run became a tempo run, pretty much at marathon pace, just because I felt so strong at the beginning. It might have had something to do with the initial elevation decline, but I was stubborn enough to keep going. Shorts and tech shirt weather. I almost brought a dog home, a cute black girl with white boots, white tail, and white neck. She joined me at the 7 mile turn around and bounded along for a mile and a half. I was worried until I encountered a runner headed east and asked her to take the dog back the other way. Hope doggie went home. Now feel a little guilty for turning her over to the other runner, but didn't have any other good option.
I have my mile splits, but am to lazy to look them up right now.
