Rain all yesterday so no more trails, but at least it destroyed most of the ice. Nevertheless, I foolishly ran on Waveland golf course, which was very steep and I needed to go quite slow on the downhills. I wandered through a few more cool neighborhoods and continued to do many hills, including 1 bigger one that I've been eyeing up for a while (it runs parallel to the interstate).
Then I ran saw Obsie Birru on 2 separate occasions, and the 2nd time I called out and ran with her for a couple of slower miles. Good thing too, as I probably would have gotten back to the apartment in less than 7 miles otherwise. Once she left, I still needed to add on but it felt good to pick up the pace again.
