Pretty much gave up on this run, just not sure if it was mostly mental or physical. I attempted the trails with uncertainty but knew today was my last chance before daily rain for the next week. Turns out, trails are still flooded. The weird part was that the high line was flooded while the low line wasn't (thanks for nothing beavers). Nevertheless, the low line remains wrecked from the flooding.
So that's where I mentally lost focus (after 2 miles of poor quality trail). Physically, I think I was just annoyed with my achilles, though perhaps it was worse than recently.
