Notes
Easy run, summer training begins.
I realize I never wrote a spring-end-of-season review. I don't think I had any set-in-stone goals for the spring, just to improve over last year. I would say that happened nearly every race. The obvious improvements were in the Leprechaun Chase and Kip Janvrin. Only disappointment was perhaps being only 30sec better in Dam to Dam. But things are definitely looking up.
Now to look forward, plan is:
June: steadily get back into training
July: Hit the miles hard
August: Try to balance miles with workouts
September: College XC races
October: Longer road races
November: Trail/XC races
As far as specific goals, I'll say
1) Run faster @ All-American than last year
2) <1:14 half and/or <55 10miler (preferably a min faster for both)
3) Top 10 at LHF
Right now I'm motivated and feeling good, so I might need to make sure I don't overdo it. Hoping for injury-free and that it's not 90degrees all summer.
