Figured I should do something fast before actually racing. I circled the Mount Mercy track and the only way in was a roundabout way around the baseball field. Then the track was still locked so I figured they meant it. I could have just stuck to the bike path, but there was an old track right next door (really crappy).

I did 6x500m at whatever pace, which ended up being around 5:20/mile. Felt good for the most part.
