With how I was feeling last night (tired, lack of sleep, feet hurting), I wasn't planning on much today but ended up going 10 for some reasons:
1) Snowy trails (after freezing rain, the snow-covered trails are actually much better to run on)
2) New shoes (DS Trainer 19's, very similar to 18's but "Newer is Always Better")
3) Ran with Rachel (always good)
Finished with 6 really good strides, did most of them slightly downhill and really focused on moving legs quickly, if not necessarily covering that much ground.
