Cool and overcast morning and a large group of 12 wedding-goers running wonder left (not my idea, but passively accepted by all). 1st 4 miles were chill. Once we hit the gravel we started spreading out more and pretending to be racers (breaking-away, bridging gaps, etc.). Demo started to pick the pace up and several of us joined him. Once back on roads, we all packed up again, but when we had cars coming at us both ways, we had to go single file, and without much thinking, Demo and Pollux were 100m ahead. I was thinking I could use the challenge and stretch out the legs but waited to see if others went. Oryx was that guy and we had to work really hard to catch, but it was a fun time. Some barefoot and strides to finish off a typical college run.
