Notes
Drew wanted to go longer than usual. I certainly didn't think a true long run was a good idea, but even 10 miles is something I haven't done continuously in almost a month (weird as I've been much more consistently good with my training in that period).
Drew and I did nearly 3 before Chase found us. My stride was feeling very nice and compact today as we set the usual good pace. Nearing halfway, my achilles did start to act up. I wouldn't say it hurt really, but I did spend several miles trying to alter my stride, which led to a slight yo-yoing right next to the other 2. It didn't get worse throughout the run, though my left back-of-knee was stiff from the poor foot placements.
It was also a warmer and humider day so the last few miles were wearing on me. Chase got his 8 and Drew and I didn't feel like adding on a quarter-mile to get 11 GPS miles.
Wanted strides, but seemed dumb if I was already not happy with my achilles.
