Notes

After yesterday's workout, I was hoping for an easier day and as we headed towards the trails, I started expecting one. Instead, the trails became just the launching pad for the rest of the run. We were flying through the singletrack, fast enough the sharp turns were getting risky. And the trails hadn't even been fully cleaned up so there was a decent amount of bobbing, weaving, and jumping over logs and puddles. The hard pace continued on the bike path, which took me about a mile to get used to. Last mile split I heard was 6:10.

This is certainly a different way to train than I'm used to: balls to the wall - nut up or shut up
