Ice Climbing in Nipigon, CA. After parking across from the Power Plant, we put snowshoes on and joined the snowmobile path. This would be the easy part. We had to forge our own way through the snow to get up to the climb, it was brutal and fun but we made it, only to find out another duo had already come up from a different way.
The climbs were cool, not as eye-appealing as Nightfall but similar in height. White Plague, China Crisis, and Gomar Falls. I felt good and Gomar Falls was a lot of fun as it was not steep and the axes just sank into the ice.
