Some of the trails were muddy from the rain, but most were good. Tried something today I thought would be fun, a tempo run on trails. Runs often feel better on trails, so why not workouts? Right away, I started on some twisty trails, so it felt more like a fartlek as I slowed on the curves and picked it up on the straights. After 10 min I decided to take a break (mostly for a bathroom break), then started up again. Again started on twisty trails, but then got into some longer stretches that I got moving on. Finished my loop right at 15min, so decided not to go any further. Solid workout, felt pretty good compared to yesterday, but also didn't overdo it.
