If you hadn't assumed, I've been taking time off from running. The pain in my upper left leg wasn't going away and I was limping every morning now. After a few days, I went to the doctor, got an x-ray (nothing) and an ultrasound (nothing). Next step would be an expensive MRI, but by Monday I was actually feeling better and walking normally (though with a vague sense of something different between my legs). So no MRI, and biking felt fine tonight, so I think I'll try some easy running this weekend or next week. Unfortunate timing as I have signed up for 2 races in the next month and a half, but 2 weeks off shouldn't be too bad (if all goes well).
I kept this ride easy and tried to stay in the saddle. After not being outside as much the last 2 weeks, I got to say it is GREEN out! At least the undergrowth.
