Today starts my official outdoor training plan, and I have a 100% success rate. Windy day so I set out for the ol' Brandon Diagonal to run in and out of the wind. Started off easy and explored some new gravel. I didn't think running in daylight would make the run seem shorter, but it did, and I got to the turnaround pretty quick. Started to slowly pick up the pace until I made a turn directly into the wind. After pushing through that I was feeling good and cruised in the last 3-4 miles. Forgot to do strides (I was pretty intent on getting inside), but there were enough fast segments I think.
