Hoping for some solid miles this week, but figured a long run might take too much effort and recovery, so something short of a long seemed right.
My hamstrings are still pretty sore so I started slow heading towards the Capitol. My right back has also had some pain lately, I first felt it at the start of the 10k but it went away quickly.
If I hadn't had a route that was much better as a loop, I might have turned around sooner as I was getting hungry and tired (Should I be thankful it was only 75 degrees?). The last few miles weren't exhilarating, especially as I wasn't 100% sure how far away from home I was. But 11 was my goal and I got it, hoping to feel fine tomorrow now.
