This is the day I should have attempted a long run. Not the I necessarily felt better, I just had a better route.

Back in DC, I picked a bike path that followed the Potomac and just ran along that for miles. It was a nice view, but mostly it was nice to run around a lot of people (mostly bike commuters). This motivated me and kept my attention to let the time fly by.

One embarrassing thing, I managed to lose my hotel key along the way. Not a big deal today as I could get to my room without it and then knock, but in other situations it could have been bad. In any case, searching for it increased my run from 8 to 9 miles.
