I woke up much earlier than my alarm so I just got ready and started my walk to the start. There were a few more detours than last year, but it was a good temperature to walk in.
I did a mile and a half around the tents before deciding I had had enough warm-up. I was plenty warm and my feet didn't enjoy warming up in flats.
Post-race, a group cool down, slow 2 miles. The first was not enjoyable, and though I finished feeling fine, it just made me return to a sweaty, somewhat nauseated feeling that I had after the race.
