Denman's is open! And it's pretty decent considering it rained some earlier in the day, but I knew heavier rains were coming so I nixed my plans of a possible track workout to do trails that weren't hilly or (always) twisty.
The workout was repeats of 5min at tempo getting into XC pace. I ended up doing 5 but the 5th probably was a bit lazier as I wasn't sure if I should be doing it (left hamstring was starting to act up). Otherwise they went great, hopefully it was somewhat near XC race pace.
Finished with a cooldown in spikes on grass - threw in some strides too.
