Short and easier speed workout this morning as the wind is coming the next few days and I'm a wimp. I was thinking 600m repeats going into this but ended up with 400m repeats at a faster pace.

WU: 2miles trying to avoid kids waiting for buses. 2 strides.

6x400m in 75, 77, 79, 74, 76, 75

The 1st rep got out a bit fast and was maybe shorter than the others.

The 3rd rep was my first into the wind and I definitely slowed during the rep (the 5th was the same direction, it wasn't much of a wind of course, though maybe it had slightly more elevation gain... again, minimal).

The 1st and 4th reps both felt amazing, actually fast and relaxed which is my goal to get faster paces feeling easier. The rest were alright.

The recoveries were all between 2:00 and 2:30, so generous. Today was another step in the right direction.
