Another group long run on ice, last week slick, this week crunchy, which made for a noisy run.
After about 5 miles, Sutton informed me that we'd been dropping about 10sec each mile, so of course he wanted to keep doing that (maybe I contributed as well). Other than a pee break at mile 8, we continued to pick up the pace to officially make it a progressive run. It wasn't until after mile 10 when we were under 6:30 that I felt like I needed to start working to make sure we picked up the pace. Hit the 12th mile in 6 flat (it was just Sutton and I by then) and then brought it back to 7min pace for the last mile.
