Notes

After a harder effort than expected yesterday, I wasn't as into the idea of a workout today. But I already knew it would be a moderate workout. After my last 2 being quite effortful, I figured I could try a faster pace with loads of rest.

I was thinking 1200's, but the stretch of bike path that I settled on was more like 1000m between hills. Warm up was pretty simple, 2 miles with a super short tempo.

I was also thinking that I'd shoot for 5:20 and run comfortably, but I went a bit too fast right away and that continued into my 2nd one. 3:17 and 3:15. The 3rd was probably the only one I felt comfortable in. 3:22. And then I was tired by the 4th, 3:20.

I think if I want to shoot for fast and relaxed, I need to be closer to 1/2 mile or 1/4 mile for reps. Next time I guess.
