Another lovely morning on the Mississippi and back to the track. I guess the trail run and 2 trail walks (with a lot of steps) were too much for me yesterday as my glutes were sore. That didn't really affect the workout though.

I started with 2 800's @ 10k which were basically still a part of the warm-up: 2:44, 2:45. Both feeling comfortable.

Next was 5x600m @ 3k: 1:50, 1:52, 1:51, 1:52, 1:49.

I started a bit fast as 1:52 was my goal. All felt comfortable and my form was pretty relaxed (for me). The last one was the fastest but far from me blasting it.

Finished with 3 x 100m+ sprints feeling really fast and smooth.

Great workout, only complaint is maybe I'm not doing enough. I'm wary of going too hard on the track as I haven't done this many track workouts since college (especially with feeling burnt out not too long ago). On the other hand, April is halfway over and it feels like I'm running out of time to do hard workouts and races/TT. Then again, I suppose I can do time trials as late in the spring as I want. As usual, I shouldn't overthink things. That or maybe I should plan better (My winter plan only really went through Jan/Feb and I've been making it up on the fly since).
