Notes
Leg 2: Cholo had leg 1 with a strong lead, but then he missed a turn and ended up in 2nd (still improving on last year). I took off around 6min pace before getting caught by a Williams guy I somewhat recognized. I stuck with him for a mile or 2 at a faster pace but let him go once we hit the gravel/up hills (so many dynamics in deciding how hard to push).
The next few miles were around 6min but the hills made the effort comparable. At times I was undecided about either pushing harder or taking it easier but mostly just maintained. 6.2 miles: 38 min.
Leg 13: A good time between my legs, and an even flatter one now. My legs felt all jumbled up but when I look at my watch, I wasn't going slow. In fact, looking at my pace, it's rather amazing how even my splits were this whole run (just over 6min, which is actually marathon pace, but I tried not to think about that).
I did have someone to chase, but he ended up being easy to catch. Otherwise, I just focused on spraying a lot of water on myself as it was getting warm. 4.6 miles: 29 min.
