Notes
Kyle had informed me that a bridge under construction had finished so that opened up a gravel road east of Huxley. So my goal was to add that to the big square long run loop. I thought this would add 4miles to the loop to get it towards 15, but didn't add on nearly that actually, about 13 for the loop and then I added on.
The run was pretty simple and the new road didn't add much in terms of scenery or complexity. It was a rather smooth gravel road though and I could just zone out on running. Just 2 notes worth remarking on for the middle miles:
1) My hands got cold after halfway, annoying.
2) I tried out a new date/pb/chia seed snack, tasty and digestable
Once I left the gravel for the shoulder of the highway, I dropped the pace by a min to ~6:20. That felt great and I finished happy with 14.
