Sooo, I may have bought a new bike, a Specialized Tricross cyclocross bike. I've been debating a new bike for a while and just went for it on Sunday (got a good deal from my hometown bike shop). The bike's certainly not as agressive as my roadbike but it feels good. We'll see how fast it feels once I get a computer on it.
This was an exporatory ride, I tried sidewalks, roads, bike paths, gravel, grass, singletrack, and doubletrack (is that the word?). I certainly took it easy and cautious but it was still fun trying new things. Lastly I took it to the bike shop and got some cool-looking half-spd, half-flat pedals (I'll admit I wasn't planning on buying these yet, but I couldn't get the pedals off myself so I figured this would work).
