Joining Emma and Rebel's workout (and you know I chose Emma's paces). 2+ miles warm-up to the campground where I was introduced to their makeshift track with loops of ~520m. I memorized a few markers and we were off. I marked Emma for 2 laps before taking over as pacer. We hit the mile mid 5:40's. During the 2nd mile, I thought we were behind pace and picked it up slightly. That wasn't necessary but it seemed Emma was feeling up for it.
I was happy to feel good after a month without a workout, aka the pace didn't feel fast. The cool-down consisted of a shuffle up a 200ft of hill.
