I suppose it can't be directly compared to running. But the ability to travel further distances, enjoy gravel in the summer (vs. dealing with flies all the time while running), and go faster is a unique experience not matched by running. It might just be the best summer cross-training option. I suppose I miss running, but it has been life-sustaining and clutch for my mental health to discover the joys of biking. Running in the rain is definitely much better than riding in the rain, however.

And I suppose I can't compare anyway since I haven't really been biking much compared to running (even if my biking this spring is more than the prior 3 years combined). Maybe the line is getting blurred for you and Rebel, but I still know which activity I'm obviously better at.
