Driving back from Ankeny, it just made sense to stop at Sycamore for a run. I wanted to check out some of the rerouted trails (ended up finding different ones than anticipated). I was only thinking an easy 5, but hoping I'd feel good and get 8. I did end up feeling good and getting 8, but maybe pushed harder than I should have if I want to do a workout tomorrow. I won't complain, though I should try to keep my easy days easy with a race coming up.

A decent week of training, though not very interesting mileage wise: 7,8,6,7,8,6,8. I should try to get a little more variety in my life (that probably includes non-running life, but that doesn't belong in this log).
