Now, this is the best I'd felt in a while. Thanks to Kyle for texting as I didn't figure we'd have time (he started earlier than usual). The pace picked up quickly and our 2nd mile would be 6:31 and the next 4 miles faster. That's even with 4 momentum-disrupting street crossings. The weather was perfect which is probably why we were both amped and feeding off each other. My stomach and breathing felt great so I took advantage and half-treated it like a moderate workout.
Plus, we went so fast that I had plenty of spare time so I did 4 strides.
