Notes
I had this notion that I was going to double today, and it was going to be snowshoeing since I'm racing on them next weekend. I also know my mileage will be pretty good this week and felt like I might as well give into that. So I doubled, it was fun, but I questioned it afterwards when I was tired and my feet hurt.
1 big mistake I made was not changing socks from lifting at the rec center earlier (I had low-rise socks on). So when I kicked up snow, it would hit my skin above my ankle. After a while my ankles went numb, but what I didn't realize is that this lead to a 1/2 inch layer of ice to accumulate between my sock and skin, not cool, but just some bleeding to deal with afterwards.
