Long run with a solid group of 9. We met in Polk City and ran to Saylorville, but instead of the bike trail side of the river that I'm used to, we crossed the river to some snowmobile/4wheeler trails, didn't know those were there. There were some steep hills at first, but mostly flat running around the lake. Not always good footing but not terrible.
We moseyed along for a bit, sometimes splitting up, but then getting back together. Around 11 miles, Jake, Tank, and I split off to the bike paths and picked up the pace from 7min to mid 6's. That felt alright, though my legs were pretty beat up by then. Although could be as was feeling the best by the end as we cruised back to Polk City quickly. Group long runs are pretty nice to have.
