Drew has been proposing meeting for a run for a while but we finally got around to it during this cold spell. We both drove an hour to Tama/Toledo. We keyed in on the bike path through town and initially it was very well plowed. The way north was pretty good, then we tried south and it wasn't plowed at all for some reason. Further investigation shows that it literally stops at the Tama/Toledo border (Tama doesn't plow apparently). Geez. We turned back north and ran into town some.
Good to chat with Drew in our longest run in around a year. The wind and cold were brutal at times and the footing wasn't great. 10miles went by fast though, and maybe partly because it would have taken me 5+ more minutes if I had done it on my own.
