My first sidewalk run in a while from the hotel. I knew this route from last fall, but I went further and tried out some dirt paths. The first half wasn't fast but I felt good about it. My downfall, as isn't uncommon, was needing a bathroom break. I thought that I had plenty of options, but the beach entrance had nothing, then the park bathrooms were closed with a sign saying to try the North end of the lake. I started that way but couldn't see anything soon.
I turned back before 3.5 (my plan) to return to the RV campground where, lucky me, both bathrooms were closed. I finally read the sign closer and I guess all the signs said the same thing: "Water out, try North..." Cruel world. I returned to the dirt path to find a semi-protected spot in the trees before returning to the hotel slightly abashed.
