Found a good spot to run between Boulder and Golden (I was heading one of those directions after the run). It was a modest uphill before flattening out for a mile+ and then the real climb. Turns out, I was running through Eldo Canyon, pretty cool place.
There were a few people on the approach, saw one girl faceplant, then no one on steep loop. This seems different than last year, but I'm noticing a lot more on the downhill, like I'm surprised each run that I actually climbed this far. Weird.
And this ones for Drew, I had this mantra/song stuck in my head: "'Cause Colorado Climbing's a rad excuse
