I had a few different workouts in mind as I left the apartment, but decided non-hills since Hazard and I were going to mountain bike after the run. Instead I started with 2 miles tempo. It was an erratic tempo with hills, busy streets, and some lack of focus, but a solid effort. Finished with 2 x ~400m @ mile pace. It would have been nice to do this on a track for reference, but that wasn't in the cards as...
I met hazard for the cool down. Our neighbor was also heading out for a run so we joined him down to Grey's Lake for a slow run before turning around. So hazard and I got to do a long uphill on the way back.
