Notes
Nice realization that I have 8 days until I race a mile and I don't feel ready. Granted, I would have done a track mile a week ago if the weather had cooperated. So I guess I'm saying that I never feel ready to race.
2 mile warm up and then 10min into the wind. 6:10 felt alright but glad I wasn't running a marathon today.
Next up was 6x1min with 1min recovery with the wind at my back. I wasn't sure about mile pace for these pieces but I trended towards that. Finished with another 10min tempo. The idea is that the 2nd tempo feels much smoother, and it did to start until I turned back into the wind and then hit some slight hills.
