I headed out of town on the bike path with the intention of getting gravel, instead, I just stayed on the bike path. The gravel just isn't inspiring me right now. Plus, it has 0 shade (compared to the approximately 2% shade on the bike path when the sun's high!).
The first 3 miles went by slowly. Once I hit the turnaround it was pretty routine.
