Notes

Short workout to get some speed in. Plan was 3 x (3min @5k, 1min rest, 1min @ mile, 3min rest).

The first half was slightly into the wind and maybe not coincidentally did not feel quite as good. The 2nd half felt great though, with my last 3min around 5min pace where it should be. Of course I could have pushed harder earlier, but I just wanted to go faster than 10mile race pace and not overdo it.
